TRADITIONAL,
POLISH SILENT GAMES ( WITHOUT many WORDS)
They
can be played indoors or oudoors in a group od 5 – 10 children best
(can be more)
HIDE AND SEEK
One
child, who is the “seeker” stands face to the wall with their
eyes closed. She / He counts to ten (or twenty – as they agreed).
The other children hide.
When the counting is finished, the
seeker says ( Szukam!!!) “I’m seeking” and runs to find
everyone.
The
people remain hiding until they are found and the last one to be
found is the winner.
SPIDER AND FLIES
One
child is “a spider”, the other children are “flies”. The
“flies” are running around, buzzing ( making bzzzz noise like
real flies), moving their arms like wings, for 30 seconds up to one
minute.
The
spider is observing, standing in the corner of the room or a little
outside of the group.
Suddenly
and unexpectedly, the spider shouts “Pająk!!! ” ( Spider!!!).
Now
the flies must stop and stand still ( without any movement).
The
spider “hunts” (says their name and takes them outside) all
the children who make even a small movement. The child who can stand
still ( not moving) for the longest time is the next spider.
